Charlene Posted February 12, 2022 Share Posted February 12, 2022 I recently converted my old Epson 1400 for DTF with great success. It's my first introduction to the DTF world! I'd love to maintain this printer properly and I've read mixed opinions about whether leaving cleaning solution cartridges overnight is safe for the printhead or if it will deteriorate it over time. Fortunately I haven't had any issues with clogs yet and I keep the printer between 45-59% humidity. Is it ok I have full strength cleaning solution in the cartridges that are left in the printer every night after running a head cleaning? Would it be better to dilute the solution in the cartridges with distilled water? The cleaning solution I'm currently using is Printhead Hospital. I also have an unopened bottle of Piezo Flush I haven't used yet. Does anyone have experience to know if one of these solutions is better than the other for daily maintenance?
