  1. They're all pretty similar. You're just wanting to remove the front rollers so they don't drag through the ink
  2. Yes so the film doesn’t bend and puff up where the printhead is
  3. Wow those are looking great. That’s why I like seeing customer prints. They’re always better than mine.
  4. I was doing 15 seconds at the 355 I use for DTG. I've seen some people say they use 250. It's a cold peel. Good to know. Sorry about that, do you need some replacement powder?
  5. No but this video shows what to do. It's pretty simple removal of the front rollers
  6. The L1800 tutorial shows you the rollers to remove: https://www.opendtg.com/topic/2008-how-to-convert-an-epson-printer-to-dtf-direct-to-film-printer/
  7. Yes 1 pass on the video when using a regular P600. I used 2 pass on my DTG.
  8. Yes Kothari, You may have to switch to 2 pass or 1 pass depending what you're doing. Just in case... make sure to print on the rough side of the film andy-black-DTF.env
  9. With Kothari it's not much less than DTG. I'd start with your DTG settings and check the box to print color first. Then adjust from there
  10. It's a water based ink that is similar to DTG inks. Plastisol is completely different than inkjet inks
  11. I would advise to buy cleaner from whomever made the ink.
  12. Yes just like the L1800 video from Hobby Print plus I added our DTG cover with the cut outs. I haven't tested storing for later. I'm sure there is a shelf life just like screen print transfers get old after a while
  13. Hopefully end of this week or so. Depends on if it gets hung up in customs on the way in
  14. I think I was getting overspray from the head being too far away
  15. 3 inches x 3.6 inches total size so the stars and dots are pretty small.
  16. Got my p600 DTF converted. I've ran a few sheets of film through and so far so good. I will do some videos and pictures soon. The p600 is WAY faster than the L1800 printers.
  17. The more I use this I see that it has some pros and cons but is in no way a "revolutionary" technique that will disrupt the industry but be an add on. The ideal situation will be to get this working with DTG inks so you can print DTG and DTF with the same inkset and broaden the range of items you can print with DTG equipment
  18. The claim is the white is less clogging, I don't know. It separates the same as DTG inks. See the attached picture. This is after a couple day sitting without use The light print is the first print and the white print is after an ink charge.
  19. I haven't tried but sometimes it gets wrinkled during use. But yes the price of film does make it tougher to compete with DTG on large prints.
  20. Pretty much the same as DTG with white ink. You need refillable cartridges, RIP software and CMYK + White
